- Plan Commission (November 9, 6:00 pm) will discuss:
- A land division by certified survey map at Wisconsin Avenue and Hwy 45
- A public hearing and consideration for a conditional use at 3132 North Mayfair Road for secondhand merchandise sales
- Public hearing and consideration for a conditional use at 3000 North 114th Street for outdoor storage
- Public hearing and consideration for a conditional use at 7208 West State Street for expanded outdoor seating
- Request for a planned unit development final plans approval extension at 1401 North Mayfair Road
- Request for a zoning map amendment at 10845 West Blue Mound Road and 301 North Mayfair Road
- Request for a planned unit development preliminary plans at 10845 West Blue Mound Road and 301 North Mayfair Road for a vertical, mixed-use development
- Government Affairs (November 10, 6:00 pm) will discuss a reduction in size of the Wauwatosa Common Council, redistricting process following the release of the 2020 Census, and a potential extension of our resolution to continue meetings in a virtual format.
- Transportation Affairs (November 10, 6:00 pm) will discuss:
- a request by the Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities Committee to implement a 90 day trial of slip lane closures at the intersection of North Avenue and Menomonee River Parkway at Oak Leaf Trail crossing
- the removal of an on-street handicapped parking area at 615 N 79th St
- traffic calming improvements for N 116th St from North Avenue to Watertown Plank Rd
- revisions to the Neighborhood Traffic Management Program Guidelines
- Financial Affairs (November 10, 7:30 pm) will discuss the City Assessor's annual report, a request by the City Assessor to obtain expert help in performing certain assessments, the 2021-2025 Capital Budget, proposed user fees for the drop off center in 2021, and a purchase order for capital expenditures for the Advanced Metering Infrastructure Program and waiver of the competitive bidding process
- Police and Fire Commission (November 11, 4:15 pm) will discuss and take possible action pertaining charges against Officer Joseph Mensah. This could include acceptance of certain filings into the record, scheduling of the evidentiary portion of the hearing, and directing parties to meet with a Hearing Examiner to conduct a pre-hearing conference prior to the start of the evidentiary portion of the hearing.
- Community Development Block Grant (November 11, 6:00 pm) will hold a public hearing on goals and objectives proposed in the 2021 annual plan and community funding priorities for CDBG projects.

Virtual Meetings
The Common Council passed a resolution that all citizen committees, standing council committees, and Common Council meetings are to be held in virtual format through December 1, 2020. This means there will be no in-person attendance at city hall during meetings.

Budget Schedule
We are in the process of developing the operating and capital budgets. Our operating budget represents day-to-day expenses, wages, utilities, and purchases of items intended to last less than a year. The capital budget includes infrastructure, city property, and long-term equipment purchases.
- October 20: Financial Affairs will discuss the Library, Development/TIF, and Debt Service
- October 27: Financial Affairs will discuss the Police and Finance Departments
- October 29: Financial Affairs will discuss Public Works, Information Systems, Amendments, and budget adoption
- November 5: Common Council will hold a public hearing on the 2020 Operating and Capital Budgets
- November 10: Financial Affairs will discuss the Capital Budget
- November 17: Common Council will consider adopting the budget
- November 24: Financial Affairs will discuss the Capital Budget
- December 1: Common Council will consider adopting the Capital Budget
Public Comment
These city meetings will be held virtually via Zoom. The Common Council passed a resolution that all citizen committees, standing council committees, and Common Council meetings are to be held in virtual format through December 1, 2020. This means there will be no in-person attendance at city hall during meetings.
