Milwaukee's notable Tequilaria has a brunch menu replete with global flavors - and a robust new drink menu. Here's a preview:

MILWAUKEE, WI -- Blue Bat Kitchen & Tequilaria, 249 N. Water Street, Milwaukee, opened in April 2018 as Milwaukee’s only Tequilaria. This Saturday, Jan. 19, Blue Bat Kitchen is launching their new brunch menu.

The new menu is represented by cultural and culinary influences from around the globe, such as shakshuka, a ginger soy glazed pork belly bao benedict, churro pancakes with dulce de leche, a southern grit cake with seared shrimp and poblano gravy, pain perdu with mezcal chocolate, and shareable items like Jamaican banana fritters.

“Global cuisine offers so much culinary flexibility and it’s a chef’s dream to compose a menu like Blue Bat’s brunch menu,”Alex Sazama, Executive Chef/Vice President of Food and Beverage said in a statement to Patch. “What we have captured is a snapshot of literal and adapted brunch favorites, offering our guests a wide of variety of options and flavors.”
