School Bomb Threat Fizzles, Student Arrested: Report
Authorities say they arrested an underage suspect in connection with the threat which was reported at 6 a.m. Friday.

WEST MILWAUKEE, WI — Students at a West Milwaukee school get a three-day weekend and a one person was arrested after a bomb threat was called into authorities early Friday.
According to police, officials received a report of a potential bomb threat at 6 a.m. Friday at the West Milwaukee Intermediate School near 51st St. and Greenfield Ave.
As a result, classes were canceled for the day and evening activities were also canceled.

Authorities say they arrested an underage suspect in connection with the threat. The building was searched, and no bomb was found.
"The District will pursue criminal charges and restitution for costs incurred as a result of school disruption in these cases," district officials said in a statement early Friday. "As the District cooperates fully with the West Milwaukee Police and the District Attorney’s Office, the perpetrator may face felony charges and jail time as a result of their actions."

Officials said the school was re-opened to staff members following the bomb search for people to pick up their belongings.
School will be re-opened for classes on Monday.
