Reports indicated that officers responded, and found a woman identified as Brophy asleep behind the wheel of her Chevrolet Blazer at one of the gas pumps. Officers were able to wake her up and noted that she appeared lethargic, unable to speak clearly, and showed signs of being under the influence of narcotics.

According to the complaint, when officers questioned Brophy, she told police that she had taken too many Xanax pills and that she did not have a prescription for the medication. When officers searched Brophy, they found a capped hypodermic needle and a bottle cap containing a white chunky substance wrapped in tinfoil in her jacket pocket.
