Wauwatosa Residents Needed For Central Count
Become a paid poll worker and help process absentee ballots on Election Day.
September 10, 2020
Poll workers, particularly "Central Count" workers who process absentee ballots, are essential workers for running a safe and successful election. If we have a similar voter turnout rate compared to previous general elections, and if more people choose to vote absentee, we could have thousands of absentee ballots to process on Election Day. Sign up to work Central Count (must be a Wauwatosa resident) on Election Day. This is a paid position: $15/training; $60 for 1/2 shift on Election Day; $120 for full shift on Election Day.

Health and safety of our poll workers during this time is a top concern. We will be spacing work tables at least 6 feet apart and requiring all poll workers to wear face coverings.
We will offer training in advance.

In Person Absentee Voting (October 20 - 30, 2020)
Two weeks prior to the election, registered voters can complete in person absentee voting at the City Clerk's office. To assist voters with this task, we are also hiring assistants for this time period. Sign up to help with in-person absentee voting October 20-30. We will offer training in advance.
