Wauwatosa Road Paving Marks Milestone, Road Closures
Harmonee, Underwood, Harwood, and Wauwatosa will all see road paving next week. Here's when and what to look out for:
WAUWATOSA, WI -- Several Wauwatosa streets will see the final stage of construction this week as paving crews are going to be in the area working.
According to Wauwatosa officials, contractors will be completing the final paving of Harmonee, Underwood, Harwood, and Wauwatosa in the Village from Sep. 10 through Sep. 13.
Harmonee Ave. will have two-way traffic, but the other roads will be closed during the work day, which is 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to complete the paving operation. The map below shows where the contractor plans to work each day. The green area is work on September 10 and 11. The orange section is work on September 12 and 13.

City officials are encouraging motorists to stay out of the work zone from 7 a.m. through 7 p.m. as much as possible until paving is completed. Final pavement marking for all the roads are anticipated to be completed over the next few weeks.
