Wauwatosa Woman Assaulted By Armed Man: Report
Police in Wauwatosa say they've arrested the man responsible for assaulting a woman on Sep. 9 on Milwaukee County grounds.
WAUWATOSA, WI -- Authorities in Wauwatosa say they've arrested a 29-year-old Milwaukee man following an assault on the Milwaukee County grounds on Sep. 9.
According to Wauwatosa police, just after 10 a.m. on Sep. 9, police responded to the 8700 block of Watertown Plank Rd. on a report that a woman was assaulted by an armed man.
Police say they investigated, and learned that the assault happened in an undeveloped area of the Milwaukee
County Grounds just north of the 8700 block of Watertown Plank Rd. Police say a suspect was quickly identified and an arrest was made a day later just after 7 p.m.

Police say the 29-year-old man resident of the City of Milwaukee, and is currently being held in the Milwaukee County Jail. There are no additional suspects police are looking for at this time, and police say there is no danger to the public.
