Woman Who Died In Froedtert Parking Ramp Identified
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is reporting that a 27-year-old man is in custody in connection to her death.

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI -- Investigators in Milwaukee County say they've arrested a suspect in the death of Carlie Beaudin, the woman who died after she was found trapped underneath a vehicle in a parking ramp at Froedtert Memorial Hospital in freezing cold temperatures.
The Medical College of Wisconsin has identified the person who was killed in the parking garage last week as 33-year-old Carlie Beadin, a nurse practitioner in the Department of Medicine, division of Hematology and Oncology at MCW.

Beaudin's death was investigated as a homicide, and the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is reporting that a 27-year-old man is in custody in connection to her death.

In a JSOnline report over the weekend, husband Nick Beaudin said the morning he learned Carlie had died, it was "phone calls, terror and grief.”
The Medical College of Wisconsin issued a statement following the news of her death:

"Her presence was felt by all who knew her, providing both warmth and strength to patients as well as mentorship to new advanced practice providers (APPs) and nurses. We continue to work closely with law enforcement and remain vigilant about the emotional and physical safety of every person who works or studies at, is cared for by, or visits our campuses, clinics and hospitals. We have enhanced security measures to ensure a safe environment."
According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's office, deputies were called to the parking ramp at about 3:45 a.m. on a report that Beaudin was found trapped under a car in the parking ramp.
A FOX 6 report stated that deputies found her unconscious and bleeding profusely from her head. She had a weak pulse and was frozen to the concrete floor of the ramp. The report also said the vehicle she was trapped under was severely damaged.
According to a JSOnline report, Beaudin was thawed, removed from the parking ramp and transported to Froedtert's Trauma Center. Despite lifesaving efforts and treatment, she was pronounced dead at 4:21 a.m.

Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin issued the following statement regarding the incident Friday morning.
"A situation is currently being investigated on the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center Campus. We are working with the Milwaukee Sheriff’s Department and Wauwatosa Fire and Police who are investigating.
