• West Milwaukee fatal hit-and run, woman sentenced (newsbreak.com) — A West Milwaukee man’s death in a March 2026 hit-and-run has led to a prison sentence for the Milwaukee driver, offering some closure for the community. Prosecutors say she struck 51-year-old Calvin Young Jr. near 54th and National, fled with six unrestrained children in the car, and later admitted involvement. She’ll serve three years in prison plus extended supervision.
