• Weyauwega Area Fire Department will move forward with new Emergency Medical Responder Program (wbay.com) — Weyauwega residents can soon expect firefighters to provide basic medical care on scene before an ambulance arrives, after the Weyauwega Area Fire District Board approved a new Emergency Medical Responder program. About a dozen firefighters will be trained and licensed, with the department aiming to launch the program early next year to better serve local emergency calls.
