• Body in drowning incident located by campers on Palisades Reservoir (buckrail.com) — Searchers have recovered the body of a North Carolina man presumed drowned near Alpine, after campers on Palisades Reservoir’s McCoy Creek area spotted him from shore and alerted authorities. Star Valley Search and Rescue, already on the water near Alpine, quickly responded and worked with the campers to bring him in, concluding a days-long search that began July 4 in Snake River Canyon.
