Creatures and Monsters          
August 9-13: 9:00am - 12:00pm         Ages: 7-12 year old
Fees: $120.00 per child (members) and $160.00 per child (non-members).
What kind of creatures do you know? Are they mean monsters or beautiful beings? Examine creatures from stories, movies, and art, including unicorns, monsters, dragons, and aliens! Let your imagination fly as you create art inspired by magical, mysterious, and horrifying beings using various media, including polymer clay, acrylic, and watercolor paint, collage, printmaking, and more. Messy. Mad. Marvelous: Famous Artists Camp
August 9-13: 1:00pm - 4:00pm        Ages: 7-12 year old
Fees: $120.00 per child (members) and $160.00 per child (non-members).
Want to get messy and widely creative? This camp is for you! Discover the mesmerizing world of famous artists and learn about their art, creative process, and their corky personalities. We will playfully approach art history as we create art inspired by Michelangelo, Vincent van Gogh, Andy Warhol, Jackson Pollock, Salvador Dali and other extraordinary and madly marvelous artists. Creative Aging
The NIC brings therapeutic art opportunities to residents of senior living centers. We offer a variety of stimulating activities including art-making, gallery visits and art discussions. This program inspires participants to tap into their creativity, provides enjoyment through art, activates the senses, encourages socialization, and aids in maintaining hand strength and coordination. The Discovery Center
Draw, paint, build and explore at the Discovery Center at the Nic. The Discovery Center is a hands-on, interactive art area for visitors of all ages and included in museum’s admission or free for members.
