Casper College was named the ninth-best community college in the United States in a recent study conducted by the personal finance outlet WalletHub.com.

According to Wallet Hub, a sample of 698 schools were chosen from the list of member institutions in the American Association of Community Colleges. The schools were evaluated on three key areas, including cost and financing, education outcomes, and career outcomes to determine where students can receive the best education at the lowest price.
The firm’s data set included the cost of in-state tuition and fees, student to faculty ratio, graduation rate, median salary after attending, and more. Wallet hub noted that the data used to create the rankings were collected from the National Center for Education Statistics, Campaign for Free College Tuition, the United States Department of Education, and the Council for Community and Economic Research.
