CHEYENNE – With the start of school right around the corner, Cheyenne Mayor Marian Orr reminds motorists to use caution as increased traffic is to be expected on city roadways.

When it comes to driving near schools, be aware of flashing yellow 20 mph reduced speed zone signs. For local elementary schools, these signs will be flashing from 8:20-8:50 a.m. and again from 3:20-3:50 p.m. For junior high and high schools, these flashing signs will be implemented from 7:30-8:00 a.m. and again from 2:30-3:00 p.m.
