City Implementing Mass Notification System For Employees

CHEYENNE – In an effort to strengthen internal communication, the City of Cheyenne has implemented a mass notification system for employees through AlertMedia. With this system in place, the City can notify employees of announcements, closures, emergencies, and other various notifications through text, email, and voice messages.

This internal communication provides yet another outlet to efficiently inform employees as news gathering sources continue to expand. City related news – for both the public and employees -- will continue to be published through the City’s affiliated social media platforms, website, and email in addition to being distributed to local/regional media affiliates.
