Powderhouse Greenway Connector Groundbreaking Oct. 22
Cheyenne Mayor Marian Orr will conduct a formal groundbreaking of the new Powderhouse Greenway Connector at 2 p.m. Oct. 22.
From the City of Cheyenne: Cheyenne Mayor Marian Orr will conduct a formal groundbreaking of the new Powderhouse Greenway Connector at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22. This new Greenway segment will connect the Greenway system between Storey Boulevard and Gardenia Drive. The groundbreaking will be at the southwest corner of Powderhouse Road and Gardenia Drive.
This Greenway segment represents an important investment in the city’s Greenway infrastructure. In conjunction with the groundbreaking, Orr will be reading a proclamation proclaiming October as Community Planning Month for the City of Cheyenne. Nationally, the month of October is designated as National Community Planning Month throughout the United States. This year's theme, “Planning for Infrastructure That Benefits All”, highlights how well-planned infrastructure projects, such as this Greenway segment, benefit the community.
