He’ll serve the Cody-related sentence while Sheridan County pursues more serious habitual-criminal charges tied to an alleged truck theft and robbery.
   

2. Paul Albert Bessler (powelltribune.com) — Longtime area resident Paul Albert Bessler, who married Barbara Walker at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and began married life in Cody, has passed away. Born in Powell in 1938, he later worked in Montana, raised three children, and was known for his woodworking, travels with his wife, and warm, friendly nature. Services are being held this week in Helena and East Helena, Montana.
