• I-80 Traffic to Come Through GR Thursday Morning (sweetwaternow.com) — Expect extra traffic on Flaming Gorge Way Thursday morning as eastbound I-80 vehicles are detoured through Green River for about two hours starting at 9 a.m. WYDOT crews will be replacing damaged glare shields in the eastbound tunnel while westbound traffic continues using the tunnel, with overall tunnel upgrades expected to wrap up by late June.
   

• Marlene A. Wright (July 22, 1940 (sweetwaternow.com) — Green River is mourning the passing of 85-year-old Marlene A. Wright, a longtime resident who devoted decades to caring for children at Western Wyoming Community College’s daycare. Family, friends, and neighbors can honor her at a Celebration of Life this Saturday, May 16, at 1 p.m. at Hilltop Baptist Church on Faith Drive in Green River.
