• Dump truck driver pleads not guilty in fatal Teton Pass crash (jhnewsandguide.com) — A criminal case stemming from July's fatal Teton Pass crash is moving forward, with the 22-year-old dump truck driver pleading not guilty to two counts of vehicular homicide after descending toward Wilson too fast and allegedly overusing his brakes. Investigators say he passed a runaway truck ramp before colliding with multiple vehicles, killing two people, seriously injuring three others, and closing the pass for about 12 hours.

The story highlights record-breaking wins, brutal climbs through Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming, and how local and regional racers battled wind, altitude, and distance all the way to Teton Village.
