More Twists Bloomfield Hills Custody Case
A banner with the hashtag #freethekids and reading "Mommy loves you — be strong" flew over the children's school.

Oakland County Chief Judge Nanci Grant is expected to hear a motion Wednesday seeking the removal of Circuit Court Judge Lisa Gorcyca in the acrimonious custody battle surrounding three Bloomfield Hills children.
The Oakland County Press said Gorcyca is expected to hear another motion the same day. The case could take another twist given that on Wednesday of this week, an airplane trailed a banner as a it flew over the children’s school that read: “Mommy loves you — be strong — #freethekids,” WJBK-TV reports.

It’s unclear who hired the plane, but if it was Maya Eibschitz-Tsimhoni, the children’s mother, she could be in more hot water with Gorcyca, who said at the time she sent the three children to juvenile detention for refusing a reconcilliation lunch with their estranged father that Eibschitz-Tsimhoni had brainwashed them.

Someone reportedly took a picture of the children, who recently have been living with their father under a court order and are participating in parental alienation sessions, as they watched the banner fly by. Eibschitz-Tsimhoni hasn’t had contact with her children for 112 days, according to the report.
Charlie Langton, a legal analyist for WJBK, said that if Eibschitz-Tsimhoni arranged for the banner and it can be proven, “Mom is in trouble” with the judge and in possible violation of gag and protection orders.
The #Freethekids hashtag has been used liberally on social media, and several groups taking up Eibschitz-Tsimhoni’s cause have accused Gorcyca of bullying.
