North Jersey

Increasing clouds, with a high near 85. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon.

Independence Day Night
A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 10pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Low around 66. South wind around 7 mph becoming east after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Central Jersey

Independence Day

A slight chance of showers after 3pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 84. Light southwest wind becoming south 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tonight
A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 10pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Low around 67. Southeast wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

South Jersey

Independence Day
A slight chance of showers after 3pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. South wind 6 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tonight
Showers and thunderstorms likely, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 11pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Low around 69. South wind 8 to 10 mph becoming east after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Careful with any fireworks you'll be setting off; in fact, you're better off leaving those to the pros.
