1 Dead, 1 Injured In Jefferson County Shooting
A shooting in the Grayson Valley area left one victim dead and another hospitalized.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A shooting in the Grayson Valley area Thursday night resulted in one fatality and another victim hospitalized.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office responded to a call just before midnight Thursday to a home in the 5400 block of Nottinghill Drive in eastern Jefferson County. Deputies found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds, with one victim - 35-year-old Michael James Moore - pronounced dead at the scene.
An Alabama Media Group report said a female victim was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.

Investigators have identified one suspect and are looking for him. They are still trying to identify the second suspect. Both men are black males, and were last known to be in a white, four-door Lincoln.
