BIRMINGHAM, AL — During the past week, the mystery surrounding the disappearance of a Homewood teenager in Auburn produced a suspect and an arrest. As well, the son of St. Clair County prosecutor Lyle Harmon was killed, and two suspects are in custody in relation to that crime.

Aniah Blanchard Disappearance: Suspect Captured By U.S. Marshals

The primary suspect in the disappearance of 19-year-old Aniah Blanchard has been captured by U.S. Marshals in Florida. Ibraheem Yazeed, 29, was taken into custody at 10:45 p.m. Thursday off the I-10 Pine Forest Road exit in Escambia County.

Man Took 'Upskirt' Photos In Grocery Store: Mountain Brook Police

A Birmingham man has been arrested by Mountain Brook police and charged with taking obscene photos of women at two grocery stores.

Movie Filmed In Birmingham Hits Theaters Nov. 15

A movie filmed last year in Birmingham starring Aaron Eckhart will hit theaters in a couple of weeks. Downtown Birmingham serves as the backdrop for "Line of Duty," a police action/drama film set for release Nov. 15.

Son of St. Clair County DA Murdered

Sloan Harmon, the 20-year-old son of St. Clair County prosecutor Lyle Harmon, was shot and killed off I-20 this week. Two suspects are in custody.
