Arrest Made In Connection With Birmingham CVS Robbery

A Leeds man was arrested Thursday in connection with the June 2 robbery of a Birmingham CVS store.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — An arrest has been made in connection with a robbery at a CVS store in Birmingham earlier this month. Adam James Mordecai of Leeds was arrested for the June 2nd robbery at the CVS store at 220 Gadsden Highway, police said.

Sgt Rod Mauldin of the Birmingham Police Department saidMordecai entered the store brandishing a gun and demanding Xanax. He left with a large quantity of prescribed drugs, Mauldin said.

Mordecai was released after posting $60,000 bond. A hearing is set for June 30.
