Arrest Made In Jan. 3 Birmingham Homicide

Birmingham police have arrested a 17-year-old in connection with the deadly shooting of 52-year-old Brian Fleming.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Birmingham police have made an arrest in the Jan. 3 slaying of 52-year-old Brian Fleming of Birmingham. The incident occurred at an apartment complex at 2108 Warrior Road.

Sgt. Rod Mauldin of the Birmingham Police Department said a 17-year-old has been arrested and charged with murder.

The juvenile will be held in the custody of the Jefferson County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
