Birmingham Teen Reported Missing: Police
An 18-year-old boy was last seen Thursday, and Birmingham police are requesting the public's assistance in locating him.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Birmingham police are looking for a missing 18-year-old who was last seen Thursday afternoon. Sean Caribe Avant Jr. was reported missing by family members after he did not return home Feb. 6.
Sgt. Johnny Williams of the Birmingham Police Department said Avant was reported to have been in a car with a friend and dropped off at an unknown location between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday.
He was wearing black jeans, a gray hoodie with a tiger on the front and yellow and white Jordan shoes. Williams said Avant is known to be active on social media, but has been inactive since his disappearance.
