Lakeshore Foundation is hosting the Lakeshore Wheelchair Tennis Classic, a United States Tennis Association (USTA)-sanctioned Level 3 wheelchair tennis open. The tournament will take place Oct. 23-25 at the Birmingham Tennis Academy on Lakeshore Foundation’s campus.
This is Lakeshore’s second annual Wheelchair Tennis Classic. Last year’s event marked Birmingham’s first wheelchair tennis competition in more than 25 years. This multi-day national tournament will feature athletes from across the Southeast competing in singles and doubles matches at various skill levels. Athletes will compete to improve their national rankings ahead of November’s national championships.
