A suspect in a workplace shooting in Conyers, Georgia, was arrested at the bus station in Birmingham Friday.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — A suspect in a deadly shooting in the Dart Container Plant in Conyers, Georgia, Friday morning has been arrested in Birmingham. Authorities say 18-year-old Cameron Golden was taken into custody while waiting for his bus to leave Birmingham to another destination.
Golden was a temporary employee for Dart Container. He is accused of killing Taurus Andrews, who also worked at the plant about 25 miles east of Atlanta, during a shift change, the Associated Press reported.
Authorities classified the act of violence as a workplace shooting and not an active shooter situation. Officials said they did not know what the motive was or if the shooting was targeted. Andrews died in the hospital after the shooting.

An Alabama Media Group report said ATF agents, along with U.S. Marshals and Birmingham police worked with bus station officials and safely evacuated all of the passengers before arresting Golden.
