Leadership Birmingham Unveils 2018-2019 Class
The program is designed to educate participants about the challenges, opportunities, history, present and future of the Birmingham region.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - The 35th class of Leadership Birmingham was announced by the organization this last week, the first class for new Executive Director Libba Vaughan, who was recently selected to succeed Ann Florie after her retirement. is designed to educate participants about the challenges, opportunities, history, present and future of the Birmingham region.
The new class includes 52 of Birmingham's civic, community and business leaders. Individuals picked for this year’s class include Birmingham City Councilor Hunter Williams, Birmingham Board of Education President Cheri Adams-Garner, Brantley Fry, who is state director for the office of U.S. Sen. Doug Jones, and Josh Carpenter, who is director of innovation and economic opportunity for the City of Birmingham.
