BIRMINGHAM, AL - After a month of filming in downtown Birmingham, the action thrill "Live," starring Golden Globe Best Actor nominee Aaron Eckhart has wrapped up its project in the Magic City.

“We are excited to have the movie 'Live' filmed in our city and grateful to all of our residents, small business owners, and corporate partners who have been so supportive," said Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin. Woodfin has said he hopes to attract more movies to the city to film, and that word is getting out about Birmingham as a filming location.
"Live" is the second feature film shot in Birmingham in 2018, as the comedy "Moose," directed by musician Fred Durst, filmed in Birmingham in February and March. In August last year, the film "Trading Paint" featuring John Travolta and Shania Twain filmed a scene at Golden Rule BBQ in Hoover.
