Person Of Interest Sought In Dec. 28 Birmingham Homicide

The Birmingham Police Department is seeking a person of interest in the Dec. 28 death of 50-year-old Lashawn Parrish.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — The Birmingham Police Department is seeking a person of interest identified in the Dec. 28 slaying of 50-year-old Lashawn Parrish. Police say they are trying to find

Jeremy Lafayette Dumas so they can question him about the case.

Parrish was found dead in her home at 12th Street North Dec. 28.

Dumas is described as 5-foot-11 inches tall, 195 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. Dumas is presumed to be armed and dangerous, police said.

Jeremy Lafayette Dumas is wanted for questioning in the death of 50-year-old Lashawn Parrish.
