Search Continues For Birmingham Capital Murder Suspect
Police say murder suspect Adam Isom is still on the loose, and should be considered armed and dangerous.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Birmingham police continue to search for capital murder suspect Adam Isom, a 26-year-old man accused of killing Cheri Twilley Dec. 16. Police say Isom is dangerous and is likely armed.
Sgt. Johnny Williams of the Birmingham Police Department said the shooting occurred around 7:45 Monday night in the 1600 block of Tuscaloosa Avenue. The incident began as a confrontation at a nearby convenience store, according to police.
Williams said after the confrontation, the suspect fired into the victims' vehicle while stopped at a stop sign. Officers were later informed that Twilley had succumbed to her injury and was pronounced dead by Princeton Hospital staff. The second shooting victim, Twilley's 31-year-old son Brandon, is expected to recover from his injury.

Isom is charged with capital murder, attempted murder and discharging a firearm into an occupied building,
Williams said multiple weapons were discovered during a search of Isom's home, and that citizens should use extreme caution if they encounter Isom.
