BIRMINGHAM, AL — Birmingham's largest building now sports a new logo at its apex. The Shipt logo now sits atop what was originally the SouthTrust Tower downtown. The Shipt logo replaced the Wells Fargo logo Saturday.

A report by Alabama NewsCenter said Shipt, the online grocery-delivery service founded in Birmingham in 2014, needed a helicopter to carefully place its logo on top of the 34-story tower.

The tower, built in 1986, was the SouthTrust Tower before SouthTrust Bank merged with Wachovia Bank, which later merged with Wells Fargo.
