Suspect Arrested In Brighton Homicide
A man has been arrested in the Feb. 12 murder of Gerald Clifton Bell.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A suspect has been arrested in connection with a Feb. 12 homicide in Brighton. The suspect, 37-year-old Jason Green, has been charged with capital murder in the slaying of Gerald Clifton Bell, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
Bell was found dead just before 7 p.m. Feb. 12 in the 4000 block of 4th Avenue, according to investigators.
Green was booked into the Jefferson County Jail just before 6 p.m. Thursday and is being held without bond.
