Woman Charged With Capital Murder In Death Of 5-Year-Old
A woman has been charged with capital murder in the shooting death of 5-year-old Tanarius Moore.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — A woman has been charged with capital murder in the shooting death of 5-year-old Tanarius Moore. Rickkia Allen, 34, is in the custody of the Birmingham City Jail awaiting transfer to the Jefferson County Jail.
The shooting occurred Saturday afternoon in the area of 33rd Terrace North and F.L. Shuttlesworth Drive around 2:30 p.m. Police say two family members were engaged in an altercation that led to gunfire, which led to Tanarius Moore being shot.
The child was taken to Children's of Alabama where he later died.
