• Chickasaw man sentenced to 7 years for federal gun charge (fox10tv.com) — A Chickasaw resident has been sentenced to seven years in federal prison after officers found a loaded gun in his bed while he was on probation for another firearm case. He later fled and was arrested in Prichard after a standoff with a U.S. Marshals task force. The judge also refused to let his federal time run alongside any future state sentence.
