Donna Butler of Cullman was killed Thursday night after being struck by (mycullmantv.com) — A Cullman woman, Donna Butler, died after being struck by two vehicles while crossing 2nd Avenue NW Thursday night, and police are still investigating the crash. Officers responded around 9:21 p.m., and Butler later died at a local hospital, with the Cullman Police Department’s Traffic Homicide Unit handling the ongoing case.

2. Cullman woman killed in crash after being struck by two vehicles (wvtm13.com) — A 73-year-old Cullman woman died Thursday after her car was hit by two vehicles on Alabama 69 at Cullman County 747, about nine miles east of Vinemont. State troopers say she was not wearing a seat belt when a Cullman driver’s Ford Focus struck her Hyundai, which was then hit by a Baileyton man’s Ford F-250. The crash remains under investigation.

Ribbon cutting, keg tapping, more kick off Cullman Oktoberfest 2026 (cullmantribune.com) — Cullman’s 2026 Oktoberfest is in full swing this weekend at Depot Park, with free admission, multiple biergartens, rides, contests, and live music. Events continue through Sunday, including races, wiener dog competitions, family activities, and headline performances, all centered right in downtown Cullman for residents to enjoy.

4. Oktoberfest Walking Tours continue this weekend (cullmantribune.com) — Cullman residents can still join free Oktoberfest walking tours this weekend, starting at the Cullman County Museum downtown. Three themed routes explore local history, dramatic town stories, and stained-glass church art, with appearances from current Burgermeister Edgar Veigl and sign-ups offered on a first-come basis before each tour.

PREP FOOTBALL: Cullman falls to Jasper 31-6 in region matchup (cullmantribune.com) — Cullman High’s Bearcats fell 31-6 to Jasper in Thursday’s region football matchup, despite big kickoff returns and a first-half touchdown. The game, televised as the AHSAA Game of the Week, saw penalties and stalled drives hurt Cullman, which now turns its focus to a road game at Gardendale next Friday.
