ā¢ āSomebody please give us some hope': Still no answers in search for missing Elmore County man (waka.com) ā A month after Elmore County resident William Austin Matthews disappeared near Ellis Road, family and investigators still have no solid leads, and his mother is pleading for information. Searchers have focused on a threeāmile area around his home and his last cellāphone location, and a $5,000 reward is being offered. Anyone in Elmore County with information is urged to contact Crimestoppers.

ā¢ Twelve students sue Troy University over AI program (waka.com) ā A dozen graduate students, including one from Elmore County, are suing Troy University, claiming they were misled about a new masterās program in artificial intelligence at the Montgomery campus. They say the university quietly ended the program after they invested time and money, then pushed them toward an online alternative they didnāt want. The students are seeking financial damages for alleged harm to their careers and finances. Ā Ā Ā
