• Baldwin County leaders hope multi-billion-dollar I-10 bridge project helps ease traffic (wkrg.com) — A massive new I-10 bridge over the Mobile River is finally set to break ground in October, promising relief for Fairhope-area drivers tired of tunnel backups. Local leaders say the six-lane bridge and widened Bayway should ease commutes, boost Baldwin County’s economy, and improve access to the beaches, though Fairhope residents will face a $3 toll or $60 monthly pass once it opens.
