Expect dozens of food vendors serving Gulf shrimp, live music, arts and crafts, kids' activities, and even sand sculpture and 5K/10K race competitions right in town.
   

2. Gulf Coast Media's Local Legends: Creel stars for Jax State, Byrd forces two turnovers with SELA (gulfcoastmedia.com) — Former Gulf Shores Dolphins like running back Kolin Wilson, safety Ronnie Royal III, and edge rusher Kingston Lowe are making their mark in college football, with recent games featuring big yardage, key tackles, and disruptive backfield play. The weekly roundup tracks how these Gulf Shores standouts and other Baldwin County alumni are progressing at programs across the country.
   

3. Modern Odyssey: From Greek Isles to Gulf Coast Oct. 25 at South Baldwin Community Theatre (mulletwrapper.net) — Gulf Shores book lovers can catch local Greek-American author Ted Pitsios sharing stories from his immigrant journey at South Baldwin Community Theatre on Sunday, Oct. 25 at 2:30 p.m. Actors will bring scenes from his trilogy to life, followed by a reception with Greek treats, with ticket proceeds supporting the theatre's expansion.

Tickets for Oct. 16 Chicago Street Supper Club on saleTickets for Oct. 16 Chicago Street Supper Club on sale (mulletwrapper.net) — Foodies from Gulf Shores and nearby towns can reserve seats now for the South Baldwin Chamber's Chicago Street Supper Club on Oct. 16 in downtown Foley, featuring a four-course wine-paired dinner. One course will be crafted by a chef from Gulf Shores City Schools, alongside other top local chefs, making it a regional culinary showcase worth the short drive.
