Ross Bridge Package Thief Arrested
A Bessemer man who allegedly stole packages from homes in the Ross Bridge area has been arrested.

HOOVER, AL - A Bessemer man has been arrested in connection with multiple package thefts in the Ross Bridge area in the last month. Marcus Damonn Tubbs was arrested Sunday after police obtained warrants charging him with three counts of theft.
The Hoover Police Department obtained a video of one of the thefts and posted it to social media:
Detectives learned that the Volvo SUV in the video was stolen from another jurisdiction and began working in conjunction with detectives from that agency to locate the suspect. He was taken into custody earlier this week by detectives from the other jurisdiction. Hoover detectives obtained a confession from the suspect before charging him.

Tubbs is currently being held in the Jefferson County Jail on $16,000 bond.
