Tattersall Park Rezoning Recommended by Hoover Zoning Board

The Hoover zoning board is recommending the Hoover City Council rezone the 63 remaining acres in the Tattersall Park development.

HOOVER, AL - The Hoover Planning and Zoning Commission is recommending the Hoover City Council rezone the 63 remaining acres in the Tattersall Park development for planned commercial use.

According to a report by the Birmingham Business Journal, the property, which sits near the corner of the 280 and Alabama 119, is owned partially by EBSCO, and the company looks to bring a grocery store to a section of the property closest to the 280.

The development was originally slated to include an 250-unit apartment complex, but according to the Hoover Sun, that plan faced opposition the Greystone Residential Association.
