- Three NASA Marshall Space Flight Center employees were walkers with the Astronaut Snoopy balloon in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! They were all set to be balloon handlers, but ended up with the opportunity as the leaders holding the banner and walking ahead of the balloon, leading it through the streets of New York City. (WAFF)
- Winter Park, the winter-themed exhibit at the Orion, officially opened Tuesday! You can catch the immersive experience now through Jan. 29. Entry is free and there will be additional activities, as well as food, available for purchase. (The Madison Record)
- The North Alabama Homebuilding Academy has created a new mobile classroom to serve local students at the K-12 levels. Schools can contact the organization to schedule a visit so their students can learn about options other than college for their future. (WHNT News 19)
