  1. Huntsville City Schools will pay $250,000 to a student that experienced bullying. The student at Mountain Gap Elementary, and according to the family, school officials were contacted about the issues multiple times. At this point, the alleged bullying has caused physical problems the student will have to deal with for the rest of his life. (WAAY)
  2. Lincoln Health System has announced they will join the Huntsville Hospital System. The lease, which went into effect July 1, is a 40 year deal. (Elk Valley Times)
  3. North Alabama farmers are feeling the pressure from the lack of rainfall. Some farmers in the area are expecting thousands of dollars in losses due to a drop in crop production from last year. (WAFF)
  4. Mazda Toyota Manufacturing held a ribbon cutting event Thursday to celebrate their new plant. Governor Ivey joined Mayor Battle, Toyota President and CEO Akio Toyoda and Mazda President & CEO Akira Marumoto for the event. (City of Huntsville)
