  1. Thrive Alabama bought a pediatric clinic from Crestwood. The clinic will function on a sliding pay scale and will remain at the current location at Crestwood until their new building opens. (WAFF)
  2. Out of the $2.8 million Governor Ivey allocated throughout the state, $500,000 is coming to Huntsville to fight homelessness. The funds will be used to help with rapid rehousing, homeless shelters and prevention, and street outreach. (WAAY)
  3. Sunday, there will be a ceremony to honor the first six African American women to vote in Madison County. The historical marker is already up at William Cooper Council Memorial Park. (WAFF)
  4. Huntsville Parks and Rec is hosting Fall Fest events at some of their rec centers. The events will be from 6-8 p.m. on October 26, 28 and 29. (Patch)
