1. Athens has the lowest unemployment rate of any major city in the state for the month of November! They are currently sitting at 1.7% and the county as a whole is at 2.2%. (News Courier)
2. The new Huntsville City Hall will be big enough for all city employees. It has also been designed with space to grow, which will allow the new building to keep up with the growth of the city. (WHNT)
3. Railroad Bazaar in Athens will be closing in the coming weeks. An exact date has not been decided, but the owners are open to the idea of selling. The business has been open for 48 years. (News Courier)
