1. If you need to vote absentee in the municipal election, today is the last day to file by mail. You can also apply in-person until Thursday. (City of Huntsville)
2. BJ’s Wholesale Club is looking at adding their first Alabama location in Huntsville, according to plans from the Madison County Planning Commission’s agenda for Thursday! This store is similar to Costco and Sam’s Club with a membership setup. The plans show BJ’s Wholesale joining Town Madison. (AL.com)
3. Huntsville pastor Randy Kelley has been named the new leader of the Alabama Democratic Party. He won enough votes (104) that there will not be a runoff. (WHNT News 19)
4. Frontier Airlines seems to be pulling out of the Huntsville Airport. They have not released a statement, but they operated flights to Denver and Orlando until they stopped travel to Orlando in April. They’re scheduled to stop trips to Denver on October 3. (AL.com)
