- Huntsville International Airport has received approval from the FAA that will allow commercial space vehicles to land. It is the first commercial airport in the country to have this approval. Commercial space vehicles could be landing at Huntsville's airport (WZDX)
- Yewon Lee, a James Clemens student has been selected as one of 161 students across the country to be named a 2022 U.S. Presidential Scholar. Two other North Alabama students were semifinalists, and only 14 students state-wide qualified. (WHNT)
- A study by NetCredit shows Huntsville International Airport is the most expensive airport in the country with an average ticket cost of $456.17. In contrast, the cheapest airport was Atlantic City in New Jersey, with an average ticket cost of $109.43. (WTVA)
- If you leave non-perishable canned goods for your letter carriers today, they will take them as part of a food drive! Everything collected will benefit the Food Bank of North Alabama. Just place the items safely near your mailbox, preferably in a bag. (WZDX)
- The second annual Big Ole' Ballpark Fair is happening now! You can find it at Toyota Field. The cost of armbands (admission + unlimited rides) range from $30-35 depending on the day of the week. (Rocket City Mom)
