American Ninja Warrior + Jubilee Festival Accident

Good morning, Huntsville! I hope your holiday weekend was safe and fun! In today's Daily, I'll update you on the latest from the Jubilee Festival, what American Ninja Warrior is in Huntsville, and what the Botanical Garden is doing to kick off summer!

Here are the top three stories in Huntsville today!

1. There was a child hit by a vehicle at the end of the Jubilee Festival in Decatur on Monday. The child is reported to have no serious injuries, and I hope to have an update tomorrow on the child’s condition tomorrow. (WHNT)
2. An officer in the Huntsville Police Department and the whole department is under scrutiny after a Facebook Live video of one of the officers allegedly stomping on a man’s leg. The video is supposed to have taken place at the Mapco on University Drive and supposedly shows the man being held face down on the ground according to Dallas Parker. (BRProud)
3. A Huntsville citizen competed on American Ninja Warrior last night. Lindsay Eskildsen came back after the birth of her daughter in 2020 to be able to compete after she competed in season 10 and her husband is a season eight veteran. (AL.com)
