  1. Seth Anderson, son of the infamous UAH shooter Amy Bishop, was shot and killed Monday night in a strange twist of fate. According to Liz Hurley, Anderson’s friend Vincent Harmon is currently charged with reckless murder in this case. (WAFF)
  2. The Huntsville Police Citizen Advisory Council released their findings on the BLM protests downtown last year. The number one recommendation was that the police department needs better training so that officers know how to handle protests. They also suggested a Memorandum of Understanding to clarify who is in control and how to control crowds. (WHNT)
  3. Huntsville Hospital System is desperately looking for full-time nurses, and they’re now offering a $5,000 hiring bonus. Each hospital in the system has different needs as to what types of nurses they are most in need of, but all are short on RNs. (WAAYTV)
  4. The Huntsville-Madison County Chamber and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation has partnered with Hiring Our Heroes. This organization will be able to help connect individuals transitioning out of the military with companies in Huntsville. (WAFF)
  5. McLarty Subaru in Huntsville has donated $22,000 each to Harris Home for Children and Village of Promise. This is part of Subaru’s Share the Love event from 2020, and according to Sophia Borrelli, will go much further due to the pandemic. (WAAYTV)
